Anne Anderson begins the Holiday Arrangement Workshop with a demonstration of building a centerpiece.

An Evening of Fun, Learning and Sharing Ideas

On Thursday evening, December 4, Anne Anderson of Anderson Bridal and Special Events, led a workshop on creating various holiday arrangements. Fifteen women attended and following an hour of demonstration and decorating tips by Anne, created a welcoming winter urn, wreath, swag or centerpiece for their home. A good time was had by all. The workshop will be repeated on Saturday, December 13 from 9-11. There are a couple of spots left, so please let us know if you would like to try it.

Anne's design tips and instructions are included with this newsletter so everyone can have the opportunity to learn about creating beautiful arrangements. "Creating a sense of balance, using various textures and greenery, focusing on making the color pop and personalizing your arrangement to fit your home and holiday decorating comes easily with just a few simple guidelines," Anne explains.

The class itself costs $10. If you want to make a piece, the costs are extra but we do try to make it easy. Everything needed for making your own centerpiece is $19. For the wreath and the swag, you can purchase one that we have available plus $15 for all the embellishments that you want to add. To create your own welcoming winter urn, the price is $35 - $60 for all the greens and embellishments that you need plus the cost of the container. You are welcome to bring your own container in and/or use one of our disposable containers that can go inside a decorative container at no charge. Workshop participants receive 20 percent off all purchases that day.

We now offer these easy, package prices to everyone, all the time, but only workshop participants receive the 20 percent off .
