Improvements and Additions to Better Serve Our Customers Needs

As we begin this spring season, I thought I take a quick minute to tell you some of the many improvements we have made this year. We hope you'll enjoy them.

New and Improvements that customers will notice for 2009:

1.Quick Classes every Thursday night and some Saturdays. It's a great way to learn more about something you enjoy.

2.Great perennials 25% off! You will find a Featured Perennial every week for 25% off the regular price.

3.Wenke Wisdom sheets available on stands around the store. We have always had a lot of information sheets but not many people found them. Our new stands should make it easy to find the helpful information you need. They are free so take as many as you are interested in. Also, let us know if there is a topic you think would make a good Wenke Wisdom Information Sheet.

4.Value sections in both annuals and perennials. Value annuals have 48 count impatiens, ellepots which are environmentally friendly, and handle pack specialty annuals. Value perennials are discounted due to appearance or quantity.

5.Vegetables are likely to be very popular this year so we have allowed more space to display all the varieties that we carry. We've added over 20 new varieties and all are naturally grown in our greenhouses.

We have always grown naturally. What we are doing different this year is we are using a soil that has more organic components, using a fertilizer that has more organic components, brushing the plants with plastic several times a day to make them stronger (we are imitating what happens naturally outside with the wind.)

6.We now have a great line of organic options for fertilizer, pest control, soil, etc.

7.All of the Plants that Work by Color varieties will be organized by color. So you can easily find the color plants you need to accent a garden area or make stunning patio pots.

8.We are happy to once again offer recycling of your empty plant containers. The recycle cart is located right outside the front door so you can drop off your empty containers at anytime.
