August 3-16, The Annual Michigan Garden Plant Tour. Google the previous words for a listing of locations, dates and times. These tours are meant for the commercial grower however some places such as Mast Young Plants in Grand Rapids and Rakers in Litchfield welcome the public. The tours are a wonderful way in which to learn what performs well in our growing zone and climate. Also the gardens at MSU are a part of this annual tour and are worth the visit.
