Still Time to Plant Vegetables
The Norm and the Unusual to Select From
Looking at our vegetable selction I noticed a couple of varieties I thought you might not be aware that you can still plant and receive a crop this year.
-Italian Roasting Peppers are 8-9 inches long that hold their shape when grilled and have a mild, full flavor. Needs full sun.
-Green Zebra Tomatoes are an heirloom variety and add color and a sweer flavor with a zing to your tomato platter. It also pairs well with cheese and herbs. Needs full sun.
-Bush Crop Cucumber is perfect for the smaller garden or those wanting to grow cucumbers in a container. The plant is upright and bushy yet dwarf in size compared to it's meandering cousin and produces cucumbers that are 6-9 inches in length. Needs full sun.
Stop in and browse through the vegetables and try a few unique varieties for those open areas you might still have in your garden.
