Interesting and Fun Workshops

Our customers so enjoyed the Holiday Decorating Workshops that Anne taught last year that we have brought her back and have added a Fall Arrangement workshop in addition to the two Christmas workshops.

These workshops are fun and whatever piece you decide to make is customized to fit your home. We will have a large variety of embellishments to select from to make your piece unique.

Reservations are needed for all workshops and can be made by calling the store at (269) 388-2266. Bring a couple of friends and make it a "gals night out." There is no charge for the workshop itself, only for the materials.

Fall Arrangements, Saturday, November 21 from 11AM to 1PM. Participants can make a fresh flower centerpiece for $20 or a fresh green centerpiece for $20.

Holiday Decorating Workshops: Thursday, December 3 from 6-8PM. And again on Saturday, December 5 from 11AM to 1PM.Participants can make a fresh, green centerpiece for $20. Or decorate a wreath or swag for the cost of the wreath/swag plus $15 for the embellishments. Or make a welcome winter urn from $15-$50 depending on the size of the container used (8-16"). You can bring your own urn or purchase one during the workshop for 25% off.

Anne is a designer and owner of Anderson Bridal & Event Florist, she received her training in floral design from Michigan State University's Horticulture Department and has been working with flowers since 1999 including two years working for The Flower Station in Traverse City, MI.

While MSU has an outstanding horticulture department, Anne was drawn there for their Department of Education, consistently one of the best-ranked in the nation. She graduated with a Bachelors in English with a minor in chemistry as a secondary educator and later completed the graduate-level "Education Technology Certificate" program.

In 2007, after a successful career as an educator, she transitioned to being a stay-at-home mom to her daughter and launched her own business as a home-based specialty florist.
Lectures and classes give Anne the exciting opportunity to fulfill her two great passions: learning and flowers.
