Seeking Plant Passionate People

Yes, working in a greenhouse is as much fun as you think it might be! Who wouldn’t love being surrounded by plants and flowers all day? Right? It may not always be easy work but no day is ever the same and really keeps me on my toes. I look forward to each day presenting new challenges and situations, which really help me stay focused and interested.  And the best thing is, I can honestly say, I learn something new EVERY day. You have some of the best questions for me and while I may not always know the answer, I do my best to find out for you!

The position I have involves a lot of different tasks, but probably my favorite part is helping our customers. I get to help you pick out just the right flowers to plant in your container or window box or help you figure out how to begin a new garden or maybe expand your current garden. Seeing you get excited makes me want to go the extra mile to find just the right plant. I get to share what I know and what I like in combination with what you want and need. It’s the perfect combination!

I love being able to get out from behind a desk, connect with people, gain more plant knowledge daily and, of course, get that employee discount on something I buy on a regular basis… FLOWERS!

So, do YOU have plant knowledge or gardening experiences you would love to share? Do you love helping people? Do you want to get out from behind a desk? Perhaps a job at Wenke Greenhouses is for you, too!
