Let's get started gardening this spring! We don't officially open until later in April but who can wait? You're welcome to stop in for some free inspiration as we finish getting all the plants ready for you. Plus we have a couple of great opening specials including pansies in our colored picnic pots for only $5.00 each and 4" hostas that are ready to plant now for only $4.49 each. Our doors will be open from 8-6 Monday-Friday starting Monday, April 4th.
Join us Saturday, April 9th at 10:00 AM for a free tour of our 18-acre production greenhouse. See how we sow and germinate the seeds, transplant into pots and baskets and grow the beautiful plants you see at our retail store. The walking tour takes about an hour and it's all indoors so no need to worry about the weather. Families, gardeners, husbands and all interested people are welcome to join us. The production greenhouse is located at 2525 North 30th Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49048. We're close to Echo Valley and Robert Morris Park. Please call or email to let us know you're coming 269-388-2266 or email@example.com.
Thursday, April 7th at 6:00 PM is our first Quick Class of the year. The topic is Growing Your Own Vegetables - cold crops and seed. The next week's class is on growing tomatoes and peppers. The classes are always on Thursday nights at 6:00 and are free. Beginning to experienced gardeners are welcomed. Please call or email to let us know you're coming 269-388-2266 or firstname.lastname@example.org
It's great to be getting started again this spring! We look forward to seeing you soon.
Celebrate Easter April 24th
Easter Lilies and other beautiful plants for Easter will be available this spring at our store. Easter is normally earlier in the spring so this is new for us to get to enjoy it with everyone. I found this interesting article on www.order-flowers-delivery.com about Easter Lily History and Meaning. Enjoy!
