Wenke In The Community

It has always been important to the Wenke family to give back to our community. The following items are some of what we do:

Tours:

We enjoy having school groups, garden clubs and more visit our production greenhouses.  The tours last about 1 hour and can be customized to the group.  No charge.  To arrange a tour, please contact judy@wenkegreenhouses.com or call 269-349-7882.  

Good Neighbor Days:

Wenke Greenhouses donates the extra product we have available from our wholesale production facility to local, non-profit organizations.  We ask that you / your group register in advance with the receptionist at Wenke Greenhouses 388-2266 or via email retailinfo@wenkegreenhouses.com. Please let us know the date you will be attending, the name of the group/organization, address, phone and email address.

Good Neighbor Days for 2012 are:

Thursday, April 26th 12-6 PM
Thursday, May 31st 12-6 PM
Thursday June 10th 12-6 PM

Donations:

 For many groups, the Good Neighbor Days provide the plants they need.  For other types of donations, please submit a written request a min of 2 weeks in advance to lisa@wenkegreenhouses.com or fax 269-373-6166 or mail to 2525 N 30th Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49048.  Please include:

• Date of event
• Name of the organization requesting the donation
• Purpose of the organization or specific event
• Contact name, address, phone, fax and/or email
• Details of what is being asked for (specific product, gift certificate, money)
